Cookie Policy

A single choice, remembered

Royal Crown asks before using cookies. This page explains the one cookie we store and how to accept or decline it.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text note that a website can store on your device. It lets the site remember a simple fact the next time you open a page, such as a choice you already made.

Cookies are not programs. The cookie on this website cannot see your other files and it does not follow you onto other websites.

The banner

On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline cookies. It stays until you choose.

The cookie name

If you choose, the site stores a cookie called rc_choice. Its value is either accept or decline.

A local note

We also keep the same choice in local storage on your device so the banner stays closed if the cookie is cleared in some browsers.

If you accept

Accepting means we may store rc_choice with the value accept. We use that only to hide the banner on later pages. We do not add a second cookie for measuring visits, and we do not build a profile of you.

You can change your mind later by clearing cookies for this website in your browser, then opening any page again. The banner will return.

If you decline

Declining means we still store rc_choice with the value decline. That is the only way the banner knows not to appear on every page. No other cookie is set.

The rest of the website keeps working. You can still read every page, call the house, and use the message form.

How long it stays

The choice cookie is set to last about six months. After that, the banner can appear again so you can choose once more. Local storage stays until you clear it in your browser.

We do not use cookies from outside companies on these pages. There is no hidden image that reports your visit somewhere else.

What we do not use

We do not use cookies to follow you across the web, or to show you notices from other houses. There is nothing to tick beyond Accept and Decline.

The message form does not set its own cookie. Your words go into an email you send from your own email app.

Updates and contact

If this Cookie Policy changes, the new wording will appear on this page. Please also read the Privacy Policy for how we handle names and messages.
